A team of our peacebuilders in the Congo live in an orphanage where self-isolating is not an option.  The Co-vid pandemic has resulted in inflated prices where there is both a shortage of food and critical sanitary supplies.  We have established an emergency fund to directly protect the children at the orphanage.  Thank you for considering helping the most vulnerable during this time of crisis.  100% of your donation is directed towards the youth with no administrative overhead.  Unite with the global community for #GivingTuesdayNow.

Together We Remember

On Holocaust Memorial Day, youth of Never Again International – Canada pledged their commitment to never forget the atrocities of the Holocaust. We remembered the victims of the Holocaust and pledge never to be silent in the face of genocide.

Never Again International – Canada is partnering with Together We Remember to commemorate the lives of victims of genocide and mass atrocities.  Communities around the globe will be staging public name reading ceremonies to give voice to the victims of atrocities past and present and compel our leaders to prevent history from repeating itself.

Never Again International – Canada youth in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda are preparing to participate in the #TogetherWeRemember name reading ceremony to join a global force of peacemakers whose aim is to unite people of different races and religions in solidarity.

Using the #TogetherWeRemember hashtag, you can join our youth peace builders and thousands of others participating in similar events around the world and help crowdsource the first digital memorial to commemorate victims of atrocities and celebrate the upstanders who have fought against them.   This April you can help to fulfill the promises of “Never Forget” and “Never Again” for all humanity by participating or supporting this campaign to remember all victims of genocide and mass atrocities.

Join our community of peace builders in helping to make Never Again a clarion call for global action and encourage global leaders to exercise the Responsibility to Protect doctrine.

The only way to truly honour the memory of those who were killed in Rwanda is to ensure that such events never occur again. ~ UN Secretary General António Guterres
